Please, gentlemen, we can all defend Jackie's honour without fighting to the death here. It spoils the ambience.

Look up how to write a song > it is not hard at all , read the songs of the Beatles , very simple meaning in most of their songs an also short an repeats of lyrics , love is all you need , just match some ending words , I wrote 3 for Jackie an send them years ago , yikes , I don't know if I kept a copy , the music is of most important as very young children have contest of writing even poetry of words but the music sells the drum beats of the ears ......................... ) Bushes quiver where shadows lean And not a sliver of moon is seen It isn't hard, especially if you make use of some of the devices poets and songwriters use, but end results will vary depending on any number of things. The repeated line or phrase is an age old poetic devise, often used at the end of a verse or chorus, but it can be anywhere. The catchier it is the better. Bob Dylan is a master of this, eg. "Shelter from the Storm", "You're Gonna Make Me Lonesome When You Go" etc. Often the whole song is built on that one catchy line that comes to mind.

Jackies' vacation > her thoughts are an ocean that she simply cannot fathom into words , sand between her fingers , sun in her eyes , then gone with the tide no matter how hard she try to express all those pent up emotions , she ends up building sandcastles that crumple , never a Master-piece that withstands the test of time , a note-book gathering dust , a swirl of emotions gone in an instant and not a single idea to write but in the autumn crisp air she will get a second wind an write some songs . I've no doubt Jackie could be a very good songwriter. Not only has her voice the most beautiful tone, but she has an instinctive melodic feel for expressing the essence of the lyrics. Jackie knows what a good song is, and she is already working with a songwriter/arranger and it wouldn't be too surprising in time if some good things result.

The Book > part 5 She went to the correlation section of the book where all the factors involved in the makeup of a potential wizard were listed , she found that she had a lot of them , enough to be one if she wanted , with rising excitement she turned to the next chapter , she saw " Philosophy " the subject she wants to take in collage , she took a deep breath and looked at the book , beginning to get an idea of what kind of power was implied there . no one should take the Wizards' Oath who is not committed to making wizardry a lifelong pursuit , the energy invested is too precious to be thrown away . The wizard gets the delight of working in a specialized area , magic , and gets a good look at the foundations of the Universe , the way things really work , wow she thinks , this is heavy stuff an then smiles . she must take a test of aptitude first , the lady from the library tells her that " they're gone " and what was that about ? , she says oh Joanne was looking to pick a fight again because of my sister . time to leave she thought and went outside with the book in hand , she looked around in deepening gloom with the smell of rain in the air , she took a path meant to confound pursuit, she didn't expect the bullies would be waiting for her , when they were through with her she had a black eye from a knee an felt like liquid fire , they left her there , she would not cry until she was safely in bed and out of her family's earshot . . to be continued Going good Beachguy. I can feel we are getting closer to the part where Jackie looks in the book and finds the spell she has cast over us all. Can't be far away now...

The Book > part 3 She walks slowly looking at titles looking at her , she stops an pulls a book off the shelf , she'd never seen it before .She thought she knew the whole stock of this section of the library , it was not a new book at all , the pages had that yellow look about their edges as the color of aging and the top of the book was dusty , odd indeed , someone always dust off the books , the book was about psychotropic spells , what ? she thought as she looked at the boldface " Warning " , " spells of power sufficient to make temporary changes in the human mind are always subject to sudden and unpredictable backlash on the user , caution that the motives are benevolent before attempting spelling to be aimed , " she shut the book as stood there holding it , confused , amazed , suspicious an delighted also of a feeling of wow , is this real or a joke or is this about Wizardry ? , one of most ancient an misunderstood of arts , are there modern wizards she thought , one must be carful before one decides whether to become a wizard , she was fascinated by the thought . > to be continued The plot thickens. Could this be where Jackie finds the book with the spell in it that she has cast over us all?

Black and Blonde and Blue
Black and blonde and blue – That’s how I think of you And all the things you do. As mysterious as night Through which the stars shine bright, Black conspires with white. Blondes: one can’t deter them, Classic beauties were them, Gentlemen prefer them, And blue, of course, applies To azure summer skies As well as to your eyes. That’s how I construe, Whenever I think of you, Black and blonde and blue.

Continued from " The Book " She strolled between rows of shelves looking at titles , smiling as she met old friends , books she had read three times before as to summon up happy images , placing her finger on them to say hi , strange creatures like phoenixes and psammeads , moving quietly under smoky London sleepy morning of a hundred years before in company with groups of bemused children , starships and new worlds and the limitless vistas of Vincents' starry starry nights as in interstellar night , outer space challenged but never conquered , princesses in silver and golden dresses , princes and heroes carrying swords like sharpened lines of light , monsters rising out of weedy tarns , wild creatures that talk and tricked one another , she thought the world would be like that when she got older as jolly wonderful all the time , exciting instead of the way it is hiding from bullies .>> to be continued Fascinating stream of consciousness style you have Beachguy. I gather you are writing a book called "The Book"?

Jackie's voice has so much charm and nuance perfect for a childrens' album. There were quite a few comparisons with Judith Durham on the old Proboards Forum too. If ever Jackie comes to Oz she would bring the house down with any Seekers song if she sings one.

Justice: We reap what we sow.Only Jupiter can go for a swim and not get wet. I concur. In life you have to pick your battles, though some can't be avoided, as the saying goes, "if you don't fight you lose". There is always a cost. The Evanchos will have an activist group leading the action, so it won't be just them, but it is daunting to contemplate. I would add that Lisa, as a sufferer of Lymes Disease/CFS, could do without this. It won't help her condition, but I suppose that shows the type of determined person she is.

Jacob was born in May 1998. He's 18 this year. More the reason to go on line school an do her agenda work there on line of internet , give her family a break not break their backs , , I would not put my family in this position but what do I know , Whether it is or not - everyone has an opinion on it - it is not the Evancho's style to accept an injustice.

By the way ... robinb ... I just discovered Slim Dusty's, Waltzing Matilda and can't stop playing it, strumming along on geetar, and heartily belting the chorus. Best rendition I've ever heard of one of my all time favorite ballads. Now I'm hoping I've remembered correctly that you're an Aussie and not a Kiwi. If not, I know I'm probably in big trouble. The voice of Australian country. Have to toss in Slim's big hit from 1957. www.youtube.com/watch?v=7cKPchRDaVM
