I got to agree with you BG, you are mostly baiting. Shock Jock also describes you, posting what gets a rise, not what is necessarily true (like Trump as you mentioned). You too have never posted a link to back up what you say. When one of us rises to your bait, your main reply is along the lines of . . . Gotcha, musher-gusher. Beachguy you may actually have some heart for Jackie, as deeply buried as it seems. After all, just Troll fishing for us musher-gushers must be a bore by now, we "rise" to your bait so easily. Your Jackie poetry can be really good, stick to it. Don www.academia.edu/3787503/To_write_as_a_bullfighter , I don't mind some musher-gushers as long as on earth not out of this world as I do some myself

Fair point, Beachguy. To be a writer is to be a risk taker. Every time the writer puts thoughts down into words they are grabbing the bull by the horns. That's what I respect about you - your commitment to your ideas. It might come from the old street-fighter in you (and, for that matter, the old fist-fighter in Cas43: you two do have something in common, I think). I got to agree with you BG, you are mostly baiting. Shock Jock also describes you, posting what gets a rise, not what is necessarily true (like Trump as you mentioned). Here's just one example of way too many of these kind of comments appearing today on two of Jackie's Instagram pages after she proudly announced on the Today show she was chosen to sing at the President's Inauguration. Appalling stuff.
"roses4every1 .... She's a sell out for singing for trump trying to get famous much little bitch?"
To roses4every1 ... except 16 year old patriots like Jackie: It's America you pedo creep. Please love it .... or leave it. And please .... please let the door hit your big smellly ass on the way out. I hear North Korea is lovely this time of year and would welcome your kind with open arms.
How? For singing the national anthem? She's not campaigning for Trump. The election is over. She didn't campaign or sing for any of the candidates. Awful to see those spiteful comments on her Social Media that are very disrespectful.

Just two little examples of America, the beautiful. I wonder who roses voted for calling a minor a name befitted her Gosh. Lemme guess. Would it be the candidate who well represented the kind of people who wouldn't hesitate to call Jackie Evancho a "bitch" and infest her social media pages with every vile taunt they can pull out of their a..? That one? I think we're both on the same page for a change this time. I am totally ....... . I fear for Mr. Trump's safety and even Jackie's now that the Lunatic Left has found her. Beyond words. Half this Nation has lost its ever lovin' mind .... if they had one to begin with .... which I very much doubt about most of them.

In the opinion of the Classical Crossover forum's resident "cooler", Jackie's career is on the way down "if numbers count". Well; number 1, BG has been predicting the imminent demise of Jackie's career practically from the day she began it and maybe every day since. At the very least, since I've been reading his posts over the past 2.5 years. Number 2: Jackie's career will arc a month from now before an audience predicted to be over 100 million. Some are even expecting a billion to watch the inauguration of the next President of the United States. Jackie has been chosen to sing one of the most beautiful and inspiring songs ever written about a Country. One still loved and revered by 10s of millions of Americans ... and many others around the world that love and respect the United States of America. She will sing it at what is considered to be a turning point for the better by the voters of most of this Republic's States, i.e. 32 of 50 and by far most of its counties. Those "numbers" will be listening to Jackie's pristinely beautiful voice and spirit inspire a new President, the Republican members of Congress and a Cabinet and administrative team anxious to inaugurate a new government. A government whose policies will not only impact the United States, but nearly every country around the world. Number 3: It will take Jackie a little over 2 minutes to do her part in the ceremony. It will be one of its highlights. Jackie was deliberately and wisely chosen by the Trump team because they are confident she will perform her role not only flawlessly but brightly and beautifully. The honor they have bestowed on not only Jackie but her family is incalculable ..... numerically speaking. dUH , I have been predicting for years Jackies' serious career will not start till over 18 ,for years I have been saying she has been held marching in time till then as a adult , perhaps then Mr Foster makes his move as he will for the $$$$$, the NA is a dull song and will not excite many due to people have heard it by so many many artists with very strong voices , her one high tone will make the song , she has sang in a number of times , btw you as always have no idea WHY they choose her , so you predict her numbers in sales and concert seats will go through the roof after Jan 20th ?? right

Now maybe because the spirit of Christmas is moving me or Jackie's rendition of Someday At Christmas that has taken over my brain and heart recently, but I'm going to surmise something that may shock the Beachguy out of his ever lovin' shoes. Now he won't admit it, even if I'm on the right track with this .... because like me he's a guy. Most of us don't like scrutiny or analysis especially from someone we intensely dislike. But I woke up this morning thinking that BG's seemingly negative opinions about Jackie and her career, like his latest one due descending audience numbers, is born out of true concern for her. Concern that she is making or her team is making moves for her that will cause her career to flag and maybe crash and burn in failure. Like a parent or grandparent protectively hovering over and worrying about their child or grand child. The fact that BG has stated that he was a "peep" before I even heard of Jackie Evancho says a lot about what may really be in his heart and behind his seeming negativity. I have to also give credit to Juxtaposer's insight about 2 old fighters going after each other .... because it's in their nature ... their DNA. It's what they do. Now I predict BG's reaction to what I've just written is going to be ........ DUH. That what's moving me is an old and burned out brain ... and that I desperately need a nap. He's probably right. I do like my naps and another song that's been rattling around in this old geezer's attic lately. This is one of my favorite lines from it. Especially you oldsters will know where this is from. "Deep in December it's nice to remember the fires of September that made you mellow. Try to remember ... and if you remember .... then follow." To say i have ""negative opinions about Jackie "" as a person or personal is a insult to me and i will not take likely to be sure , this shows just how big a fool you are ,or your brain power is in its last September stage as cobwebs of obscures due to accumulated dirt and dust , your brain cells are in tangles , my negative comments has always been about her team , any one without negative thought WHY her numbers are down is no true fan that cares for her , duh

Nope. Wrong. I very frankly hope they don't. Watching her activity this fall and through Christmas and into January, which is hyper, and by many considered a positive sign for her career ... bothers me. Imo it is indeed a positive for a career. But is it a healthy positive for a 16 year old young lady who is only a junior in high school? The parent and grandpa in me says this is one of the most important developmental periods for a person; emotionally, psychologically and spiritually. Choices are made during it that will effect a person the rest of their life. Career be damned if you make bad ones effecting your personal life, which is so much more important. It doesn't matter whether that person seems to be precociously mature. Often it is those kind that are most vulnerable to pedestaling. Of becoming captive to and owned by the whims and wishes of millions of fans who seek ... nay demand your allegiance to them ... lock stock and barrel. And if you don't give them what they want ... God help you and your career. On the now defunct proboard I once wrote an open letter to Jackie and her family about just that. Is all the adulation and celebrity and wealth that goes with a high flying musical career really worth losing all of your privacy? Your ability to simply take your pooches for a walk and a poop ... without a body guard? To go down to The Strip and try to hang out and grab a sandwich at Primanti Bros. without being mobbed by ferocious fans and autograph demanders. Etc. etc. etc.? I gave the example of Shirley Bassey, the Welsh diva who admitted late in life that she'd payed a terrible price for her fame. i.e. Loss of her connection with her family and old friends and neighbors in her home town of Tiger Bay (Wales) which had really given her ... the very best years of her entire life. When you're in your mid to late 20s, you MIGHT be able to handle it. But when you're 16 .....?? I don't think so.

Hello Cas43. These are valid concerns but I remain optimistic. 1. Jackie has had experience with these issues for six years, and probably has a rather unique mindset as a result. 2. She chose this career path and was probably coached by Foster and other industry experts about the pitfalls. 3. The current hyper activity hinges on the Jan 2017 event which is potentially huge - an opportunity that is downplayed at peril. I postulate that it was resisted in 2010 for Jackie (and family's) sake - she was not ready. But now? Maybe she is. And a similar opportunity might not come again for years, if at all. 4. Jackie has experience with shrinking concerts and a return to relative obscurity. Once bitten, twice shy. She knows about downturns and so is not a first time wave rider.
I too share some concerns for the future, but on balance think it would be a mistake to slam on the breaks. (But what do I know..)

She chose this career path and was undoubtedly coached by Foster and other industry experts. 3. The current hyper activity hinges on the Jan 2017 event which is potentially huge - an opportunity that is downplayed at peril. What I say about it or am concerned with about it .... makes no difference. You're right. She's at a crossroads. My advice ... to a new driver ... even if the light is yellow ... nudge the brakes a little and look both ways before you cross it and accelerate. Maybe time to check and make darned sure you're even on the right road to begin with. Btw. from your posts I've read ... you "know" quite a bit.

At the risk of sounding mushy, we (many) are concerned because of our love for Jackie and her art. That's a good, positive thing in this world.

Unsolicited advice to any entertainer seeking adulation from the masses: Be careful what you wish for....

I don't think so" Here's an interview of the late George Michael that I hope Jackie sees and studies while considering her future as an entertainer. I'm thinking about this as I realize she's already performed 15 concerts since Oct 1 and the many horrible cyber assaults against her since she agreed to sing for the Inauguration.
