Wonder why Jackie is placed last on the list of performers? Bcos she's the youngest, or just randomly, or in order of name recognition in that part of the world?? The enquiring mind wants to know.
1 US$ = approx 3.5 Malaysian dollar. So ticket prices range from about US$85 to 600. Price of admission to this concert is purty stiff.
When we learned that Jackie's world tour's not gonna happen, didn't I say that she would do a mini Asian tour?! Suppose Thailand + Malaysia = qualifies for mini Asian tour!

Why is Jackie placed last on the list of performers? Age before beauty.
Mini tour? Apparently...

David Foster and famous friends head for Malaysia
April 29, 2015
By ANGELIN YEOH
Prolific music producer and winner of 16 Grammy awards David Foster is set to perform at Arena Of Stars in Resorts World Genting on Aug 14 … and he will be bringing some famous friends along with him.
The Hitman David Foster & Friends Asia Tour 2015 will feature performances by Peter Cetera, Natalie Cole, Boyz II Men, Ruben Studdard and Jackie Evancho.
The last Hitman David Foster & Friends Tour in Kuala Lumpur in 2011 had thousands of audience enjoying themselves to performances by Ashanti, Charice, Michael Bolton, Earth, Wind & Fire and Russell Watson.
There was a memorable moment in the concert when Foster gave the audience a 30-second teaser of Chicago’s hit song Hard To Say I’m Sorry. He refused to play any further saying, “It’s not fair for me to play this when (former Chicago frontman) Peter Cetera is not here!”
Well, fans can finally look forward to a performance of that song when Foster and Cetera reunite in this upcoming show.
The Hitman David Foster & Friends Asia Tour 2015 is held in conjunction with Genting’s 50th anniversary. Tickets are priced from RM298 to RM2,108. Genting Rewards member get a 10% discount on VIP/VVIP tickets. For more information, call 03-2718 1118 or visit the Resorts World Genting website.

www.thestar.com.my/News/Nation/2015/05/13/Hitman-returns-with-famed-friends/Article by Kenneth Chaw May 13, 2015 KUALA LUMPUR: Renowned songwriter and producer David Foster will be back to serenade Malaysians with several famous friends of his adding to the glitter. Held in conjunction with Genting’s 50th anniversary, the concert will see Foster along with former Chicago member-turned-solo artiste Peter Cetera, R&B and soul singer Natalie Cole, R&B vocal group Boyz II Men, American Idol Season Two winner Ruben Studdard and classical crossover vocalist Jackie Evancho. The Hitman David Foster & Friends Asia Tour 2015 will be held at the Arena of Stars, Resorts World Genting, on Aug 14. The affable Foster, who announced the concert at the Majestic Hotel here on Monday, said there “will be no issues of ego among the star-studded cast”. “The camaraderie is beautiful. Most artistes tour in a bubble – they go on stage, come off stage, go to their hotel and then to the next venue. “They don’t have peers to hang out with,” said the music man who performed his first Malaysian concert in 2011 at Bukit Jalil. “I’m the one who’s up there for two and a half hours, which is fine. This means Natalie Cole and Peter Cetera and Boyz II Men can all hang out backstage and talk about the things they love most – which is entertaining and music. As a songwriter, Foster’s compositions include Whitney Houston’s I Have Nothing, Andrea Bocelli and Celine Dion’s The Prayer and Cetera’s You’re The Inspiration. Foster is also responsible for producing Whitney Houston’s rendition of I Will Always Love You and Cole’s duet with her father Nat King Cole, Unforgettable. Tickets for the concert, which starts at 9pm, are priced at RM298, RM498, RM788, RM1,168, RM1,618 and RM2,108. For details, call 03-27181118 or visit www.rwgenting.com.

As with her last trip far away with a duet I don't understand how that one or this one is so needed or how many new fans she may find but I don't think many because those people that watch this already know Jackie as a fan by now and I guess if the pay check is big enough it may be worth it but it's a long haul for her people for a short gig , but what do I know , it may be just to keep Mr. Foster happy
