Paulo, welcome on the new forum! You are right, DVD is valuable part of the album. I would also recommend to buy the physical album. But if anyone wants to spare money, it is surely cheaper than the CD/DVD set. Other advantage is if you can buy&download only few tracks to try a new artist. I don't know about quality of Itunes. Is it possible to hear some sample? Until now I mean the best downloadable quality is provided by tradebit.com. There are 1 minute samples from each track, they are of better quality than the samples from amazon.com. |

68 MB of iTunes setup and I only wished to play a sample??  As I don't use any i-device, I will not install it.  Paulo, can you please compare it with the tradebit.com samples quality? The link is placed in my previous post. |

Hi bogi, Sorry, I don't think it's necessary to install Itunes, to preview a song, just put the mouse over the number of the song in the track list and click to play the sample. Incidentally, following the tradebit link you provided, I just found that the album is also available as mp3 320 kbps for download from 7digital UK, US and Portuguese stores (I guess other countries have it too), which I think is a far better option than Itunes. MP3's are easier portable and these 320kbps sound well. Good tip for those who will not miss the DVD or who wish to try few tracks only. I tried it in both FF and IE web browsers and it doesn't function. Maybe itunes install some browser extension. |
