Another Hollywood related news, but this one has a storybook-like ending, well almost.
Today Thursday at around 3pm California time, the beloved Han "Indie" Solo, with Darth Vader on his tail in hot pursuit, had to seek refuge in the Southern Californa colony of Venice. He crashed landed his vintage Starfighter on the Venice golf course fairway, while trying to avoid hitting golfers and trees lining the fairway strip.
Fortunately for Solo, one certain Doc "Positive" Ben happened to be enjoying his round of 18 holes while listening to Jackie's Awakening on his earbuds. The good doc jumped into action, administering first aids + positive philosophical talks to Solo in order to stabilize him. And blimey , Admin John who was playing with Doc Ben at the time, instinctively put on his law enforcement hat and was heard telling the gathering crowd: "Bugger off! Nothin to see 'ere, just move along, people!"
Thanks to the combined efforts of Doc Ben an Admin John, by the time paramedics finally arrived at the scene, Solo was declared to be in fair to moderate conditions . He was quickly transported to Skyhawk's E.R. The Hawk , who was on duty at the time, was up to his usual mischief. Instead of tending to Solo right away, he was seen badgering Solo for details to his Star War adventures. When E.R.'s security finally had to forcibly remove Hawk, he was still yelling out questions to Solo about Black Holes, God Particles, Warp Speed, Worm Portals...........
Ford's son Ben, (not to be confused with the good Doc 'Positive' Ben), tweeted Thursday afternoon @ 5:02 PM - 5 Mar 2015 that his father was doing fine. He says: "At the hospital. Dad is ok. Battered, but ok! He is every bit the man you would think he is. He is an incredibly strong man."
Here's wishing Mr Ford to have a speedy and complete recovery!
On a lighter note, Skyhawk's good friend 88 is still busy on his computer, trying to post about Solo's accident to as many forums as he could find, so that he would fill his self-imposed quota of at least 88 posts a day. Post away, pal!

With Kevin Durant and Blake Griffin both still sidelined due to surgery, Chris Paul finally had the chance to go pointguard head to head with Russell Westbrook in Wed night’s NBA game, L.A. Clippers vs Oklahoma City Thunders. With a 120 – 108 decisive win over Thunders, C.P. 3rd totally schooled Westbrook and vindicated his uncharacteristic meltdown against Westbrook in last year’s playoff game 5 vs the Thunders.
Durant was seen sitting courtside, chomping at the bit to get back into the games. Meanwhile Griffin was nowhere in sight. Rumor has it that he was cooling his heels with Sports Illustrated’s super model Kate , also a Special “K” person herself. classicalcrossover.proboards.com/thread/836/special It’s hard work dating super models, but someone has to do it. Take one on the chin for the home team, Blake! Go Clippers!

I'm boycotting till the playoffs , then I will root against the team who can't play because of a owner's poor judge of trust . , a team of no courage . It's your loss, Skyhawk. U had missed the dress rehearsal of this year's NBA Finals in Thursday's exciting game........ Cleveland Cavaliers at San Antonio Spurs. The TNT game commentator said that was a game for the ages , and he wanted to watch it again!
Spurs was like a well oiled machine, as their aging star players' been together for more than 10 years. Under the best NBA Coach Gregg Popovich who meticulously managed the aging players' minutes throughout the regular season, every player was able to contribute and interweave to form a seemingly impenetrable net. Their defense and ball movement when in attack mode were like poetry in motion, almost flawless.
On the other hand Cavaliers had 2 number one pick and rookie of the year from their respective draft, in LeBron James and Kyrie Irving. Since it's their first season playing together, the team work chemistry was not as outstanding as the Spurs', but as the season progressed, it was improving and the Cavs were playing better lately than when the season first started.
The Calvaliers made up for their team work deficit by the sheer talents of their two best players, as evidenced by Thurday's game. With less than 1 minute left in regulation, Spurs were up by 7 points. It was Kyrie Irving's turn to shine. He attacked the Spurs relentlessly, like a machete cutting through Spurs' seemingly impenetrable net, and scored the last 9 points for the Cavs, including the buzzer beating 3 pointer that tied the game at 110 apiece, taking it to overtime!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Irving ended up scoring 57 points, a personal best and a Cavaliers franchise record, and won the game in overtime at 128 to 125 for the Spurs. Definitely a preview of things to come for this year's NBA Finals.......... Mark it, book it, bet it, Skyhawk!
