That is great. Can't wait to see it and buy the DVD video. I know it will be as great or greater than the first one.

If there were ANY possible way, I would be on a jet to LA for this performance. It will be historic. Think Sarasota all over again with all of the superb acoustics in the venerable Orpheum theater. Here is something else to consider. Even though there will be no M&G, the taping will, in all probability go on for five or six hours. I remember reading that all of the re-takes and changes took place at Sarasota over that time frame. So, in effect, Jackie will be in front of your eyes about twice as long as a regular concert. Two for one.....so to speak.

One important difference between LA and Sarasota will be the audience.
Remember our initial reactions when we saw DWMIC for the first time...little or no typical Jackie crowd reaction. The subdued, rather tepid, responses to Jackie's legendary performances of "Lovers" and "TLP" and the rest were due to the fact that the crowd was not primarily made up of Jackie fans. It was made up primarily of volunteers and helpers from the Ringling operation who were given complementary tickets by Ringling as a gesture of thanks. Most of them had no idea who Jackie Evancho was.
The LA performance at the Orpheum, on the other hand, will have a ton of rabid Jackie fans, plus her star has risen exponentially in the year since the Sarasota performance.
This will be a mind-blowing experience for any true Jackie fan to be in the audience, both for the immediate experience, and the opportunity to relive it over and over and over.....

If I remember right, David Horn co-directed with DFoz on Dream with me, so he already knows how to work with Jackie.

Hi Sylvester,
I'd LOVE to, but its not going to happen for me.
I saw the setlist, and saw "I see the light" from Tangled at the end, which tells me that they already believe she hit that one out of the park. I have been thinking that of all the songs on the setlist, that THAT one showed the greatest promise as a breakout hit for her. My thought was that ISTL puts her voice at greatest advantage in a range she doesn't normally spend much time, and will allow for some extra versatility.
With Jackie singing it, it has a chance to get into PROMS as an all-time classic. It can also be arranged as a solo or as a duet with a tenor of your choice.
I'd give my right arm to go, but not this time.
