Hi all, A mate of mine here in Brisbane, Australia - Suellen Cusack - is just entering the foray into the world of CC and will be releasing her first album in a few months. She has an amazingly clear voice, having studied at the Queensland Consvervatorium in Brisbane (the same place as Mirusia Louwerse) and performing as soprano soloist in a production of Scotland the Brave. She has featured in two duets with Gregory Moore on a tribute album to our fallen soldiers, including the title track Requiem For A Soldier - available as a single mp3 download here: www.getmusic.com.au/gregorymooresuellencusack/store/detail?id=148662Here is the official video of Requiem For A Soldier: And a live performance of Last Rose Of Summer (the other duet from the tribute album). I think you can get it as an individual download on iTunes too (but I hate iTunes...grrr): EDIT: the video has apparently been set to PRIVATE and an article from her hometown of Bundaburg: www.news-mail.com.au/story/2012/04/12/suellens-soldier-tribute/I have been told that she has recently recorded a single of Amazing Grace with didgeridoo accompanyment which promises to be most unique... I certainly look forward to hearing the result. I will keep you posted on any developments.

Suellen has a lovely voice. Do you have a video of her singing in the opera, Scotland the Brave? I am not familiar with the opera but would enjoy hearing some of the music. Is it on YouTube?

I'm not sure of any recordings of her performance in Scotland the Brave, I'll ask her though. There's a fair few recordings form her live shows, just search "Suellen Cusack" in YouTube and they should come up easy.
Oh, and BTW, it's Suellen's birthday today! HAPPY BIRTHDAY SUE!

Hi ya, I got your e-mails about Suellen. There's a long, long queue to be profiled on the site. Please continue letting everyone know about her here though - plenty of people flick through the forums! I'll get round to her eventually. There's only me running the content of this site you see, and I have a day job. Nic xx

Suellen just told me that Amazing grace will be available soon on iTunes as well as an EP. The didge(ridoo) player is William Barton. He is internationally acclaimed and has played with the Berlin and London philharmonic orchestra. For an example of his work here's a link of him playing with a string quartet:
Should be very interesting.
