this new PBS production "Night at the Movies" with Jackie Evancho will be co-hosted by Jim Masters for the pledge breaks only as well as having a performance with the Canadian Tenors is shaping up to be of an Epic performance. Wonder who the other Host is going to be? Jim Masters you can also throw in a few world class instrumentalists headed for the PBS special as the master detectives from amazon scour the net to find who is attending and performing. Only the best of the best for Young Jackie the American Angel.

I passed by the area early this afternoon and taken a few shots from my iPad at 2:45pm in LA historic downtown.

This gives some clues to the album too. It looks like a safe bet that Ross arranged the songs and he might well have co-produced the album (as yet unnamed) with Gatica.

Here is the "Before" version (audio recording only) of My Heart Will Go On recorded at 9 years old. It will be interesting to contrast it with the "After" version three years later.

What a concert last night from historic downtown LA @ The Orpheum Theater. Jackie was amazing along with Canadian Tenors and a surprised guest, her big brother Jacob. Let me post first the review from Pine-RichlandPatch article.

Reflection is not an easy song to sing. It will be interesting to compare Jackie's interpretation with the original from Christina Aguilera, the budding artist at the time who recorded it for the movie Mulan, marking the beginning of her rise to stardom. Christina is yet another standout artist from the Pittsburgh area. Must be sometime in the water.
Christina had to audition for the part by demonstrating she could hit high E above middle C.
