I got to see Chris Mann play the Phantom on April 20, 2015, just 3 days before attending Jackie's concert in Shippensburg (where "Nessun Dorma" finally resurfaced). Now, I'll get to see them both on the same night. This one should be very unique & special, just like last year's Portland concert with Peter Hollens. I plan on spending the following day going over to Fort Sumter. I have all of Sunday open, since the Monday flight was about half the price of Sunday's. Since BG hasn't told you, be sure to plan your excursion to Fort Sumter. I've only gotten to visit Charleston twice, both while on days off from filming the movie Glory in nearby Savannah in the spring of 1989. It's a beautiful old city and the first time I was with friends and we just walked around town and the Battery and visited an antique shop or two. Only a couple of days later I was able to return by myself for more intensive touring but having only another single day, I concentrated on the National Park Service sites Fort Moultrie and of course Fort Sumter. Moultrie's no problem; located on Sullivan's Island it's easily driven to over connecting bridges from which you can see the whole harbor as well as the aircraft carrier Yorktown. Sumter's a totally different situation - there were only 3 or 4 boats daily (the ONLY way to get to it), so planning for cruise times is both necessary and essential. The trip doesn't take an entire day - unless of course you want it to - but keep tabs on the schedule! Sorry jamesn but I did tell on other post , in fact I had a plan for a Fort Sumter tour to show some pals this passed Saturday but Matthew changed my plans , I have been on the Yorktown a couple times an sat in the same chair as the Capt did in the war , btw the crew had ice cream cones now an then ,

I'm still confused. Chris Mann's post on his Facebook tells us, that he will give a concert and his guest is Jackie Evancho. On the other hand, Jackie Evancho's post tells us she will give a concert und her guest is Chris Mann. Can somebody tell me, what is correct? I hope, that Jackie and Chris know, who is the main performer and who is the guest. Otherwise it could happen, that we may have a fight on stage .

The fort in itself probably couldn't be hurt, but I hope the museum and the priceless flags weren't harmed. Since it's inside the solid concrete Battery Huger hopefully all the artifacts came through okay. Of course, I hope the old town itself and The Battery are alright too - what about the theatre and its neighborhood?

I called the theatre an all is OK , you can take a tour of a C-17 at Air Force Base on Nov 5th , I think we will do it all on one day , it is a great city to visit , you feel the history in your bones

For fans that can afford it, Gaillard Center, membership division says there will be a meet and greet opportunity (with Jackie and Chris) as a Member perk. Membership level is $500 to attend this Meet and Greet (and possibly spouses can attend too). Obviously, if you don't live nearby you can't use it for yearlong member perks at other events. It was too bad to see the venue meet and greet pictures for St. Charles (Oct. 6) and not see any travelling fans making the meet and greet, for half of this membership charge. So I am giving this information out to attendees that a M&G is available at this cost. I understand that artists like Jackie are usually paid extra by venues to have meet and greets. Don Contact info is for Gage Baxter: (p) 843-579-6452 (e) gbaxter@gaillardcenter.com (w) www.gaillardcenter.com

Thanks for the info. I have been very fortunate to have 2 meet & greets in the past, which totaled barely more than half this amount. I will not be partaking of this, but if there is someone who really wants this amazing experience, here's your chance.
