"Having watched the first man walk on the moon from the black and white TV screen, it changed my perspective, it actually gave me the energy to focus in on things that were out of the box." - In 2015, Sarah Brightman will travel to the International Space Station, a dream that she has had since childhood, when mankind took its first steps on the moon. Brightman takes a closer look at her own relationship with the universe on her new album, Dreamchaser, through a few wistful originals and playful covers by Sigur Rós, Wings, Elbow and Cocteau Twins. Alongside her otherworldly plans, we ask the vivacious soprano how she spends a typical day on Planet Earth: www.songfacts.com/blog/interviews/sarah_brightman/ Enjoy! Songfacts.com

Hi what are forumers thoughts on the new album from Sarah ? I really like it, there's some stunning tracks on it. Also has anyone seen her live yet? She didn't play Hong Kong this time so I missed the show. She played Shenzhen over the border in China. The album seems to have been well received anyway. Also what ever happened to the forum.co.uk nicola ? Did it just finish ? T x

It's a good review. I can't imagine Sarah performing with such a small group of musicians but she pulls it off remarkably. You certainly have a wide range of genres to choose from in Orlando!

Starting about 5 years ago, I became a big fan of Sarah Brightman. This great adventure reached climax at Montreal Bell Center september 17th 2013, fifth row facing exquisite Dreamchaser Tour. A couple years earlier that show, I had a vision listening her song "Anytime Anywhere". At that time, I was developing a fractal explorer program in my spare time. From then, a Mandelbrot fractal video, showing a mouvement smoothly synchronized with that song, had to be done. Here's the result. Share it if you like it P.S. I had quality time reading this thread!

It looks like Sarah will be at Royal Albert Hall in June for a benefit. The show announcement indicates that she will be appearing as a "guest conductor".www.parkinsons.org.uk/content/symfunnyShe now also lists three concerts booked in US for the month of August (in California, Texas, and Virginia).

Sarah has announced cancellation of her August tour dates due to having suffered a broken ankle: "I have suffered a hairline fracture to my ankle and have been advised by my doctors to rest it until September by which time it will have fully recovered. I have, regrettably, taken the decision to cancel my forthcoming US dates in August.
I truly apologise for any disappointment caused." Sarah Brightmanwww.sarahbrightman.com/news/north-american-august-tour-dates
