NBC News Anchor Brian Williams conveniently "forgot" the facts when he narrated about his "close call" in Iraq.
I see a parallel here, Skyhawk. You seem to have conveniently omitted the fact that, last Summer before Awakening album debut, you had predicted to me that sales of Awakening would reach 300,000 copies in the first month. While I had predicted only 200,000 copies. Obviously we were both off, but yours even more so. WHO'S THE BIGGER DUFUS   NOW?!
Admittedly I did say that Awakening would be certified Gold eventually. But I didn't give a time frame , so the jury is still out on that!!!
Right now total album sales worldwide is what, about 100,000 units  ?? To date I still stand by my Gold prediction. as I absolutely feel that the album grows on people. It is not a flash in the pan trendy kind of music. The album has legs and a very long shelf life, and will continue to sell for a long long time to come. Besides, Jackie might get her next breakthrough  in the near future, and new fans would look for her "old" works. You must have heard that some albums actually did better the 2nd time around!

A shout out to the L.A. Lakers for another rare win Friday night, 101-93 against the Milwaukee Bucks. That makes it 3 wins in a row for the Lakers, a rarity indeed, and all without Kobe Bryant as he has undergone season ending surgery. The young Lakers players played hard for the win.
But inspite of the winning streak, the Master is predicting his other L.A. team, the L.A. Clippers to go into the playoff come April, but not the Lakers. Mark it book it bet it, Jayhawk!!
