Thanks , i am not sure i understand if it is a disorder how can or why people have to accept it as intended by a creator , is transsexual a normal condition , should she be wise NOT post her picture all over social media and with Jackie to be more private of her ID , she seems to want all to see her with her Instagram photos and the like , she seems to invite attention because she wants to be perhaps a model for transsexualism . Ps how does the public know one is in truth surgically changed ? Ps2 gender > "" the behavioral , cultural , or psychological traits typically associated with one sex "" so some people will never accept in their minds this disorder as acceptable As noted in the court decision, the Plaintiffs use the professional opinion of those who agree with them---i.e., that transsexualism is NOT a disorder. Because many other professionals disagree about this, the defense that we are left with from the Plaintiffs is that is it not a choice---even if it is a disorder. The Evanchos were 'fortunate' to find professionals who agreed with them on both counts, which strengthens their argument. Ben, I take it you are convinced transexualism is a disorder. What then is your take on the faafaine of Samoa. www.sbs.com.au/news/article/2013/07/16/faafafine-boys-raised-be-girls In the Torres Straits they are called "sistagirls". And in American Indian society when Lewis and Clarke were wintering on the Missouri in 1805 they were a number of times visited by "the men who dress as women". These traditional societies don't seem to see it as a disorder.

Jackie M Evancho is just a girl ....with a wonderful voice as without the voice we would not know of her and she indeed would just be another girl at the mall . BTW i believe Lisa is the boss and give Jackie things to tweet on Twitter and other social media sites , she is using Jackie imo At 16 most girls are very close to their mothers (unless it's an unstable household). The time for full independence is looming but mum is much depended on in mid teens. Their like mindedness on this issue suggests they are close, so I think it's more a case of Jackie showing solidarity than being used. The court issue though, as justified as it may seem, was an act of adventurousness, for the simple fact that I don't know anyone whose life has improved for being involved in a court case. Court actions are draining. Court's are good places to keep out of. Looks like I have to take that back about adventurousness. The Evanchos knew exactly what they were doing. And they won. Of course, they were right all along.

No they were wrong all along , it will go to the states out of nonsense judges looking for votes , i don't believe it can be mind over matter as changing the matter to fit the mind is dangerous , the body was there first then the mind

The weird day her brother told her he was a girl as some pronouns changed from as he to she , adding s with shaking unsure voice still low , low as her fears fallen to pieces on the yard hiding among the grass , all the hours of research and searching for answers that fit the feeling of heart , that day he said " i am your sister " , she started to dress as models in magazines to hide this or that , long hair is best for her look she likes , she brags about her sister and her love for her as without her she would be lost for sure , her smiles come less in time in all those selfies she takes ," is my jaw too long or my nose " , time will tell of this adventure of two close sisters', life in general will change indeed as she dearly hopes all can welcome her as the same skin she inhabits as her sister .

She had no seat belt on again , such a delight but not indestructible , perhaps the sun would catch her hair and make it shine as a halo and her crystal blue eyes filled with radiant sparkle would dance all day but not today , the EMTs rush to her side as clutching life saving equipment but they slowed their cadence as to no longer frantic to save her , her hair now matted and dull as never before , the grass where she lay was dark with blood , her mother did not know her lovely daughter was under that white cover , her father couldn't know that he would never walk her down the aisle , they were at the vacation house with family waiting for her with strawberry sorbet and cool ice tea , they sat on the back patio eager for her to dance into the house with her giggles of vitality and beauty , waiting to hold and hug and feel her breathing enjoyment . Until that tune on the cell phone ...that tune that will haunt forever .
This sadly happens ever day .

These traditional societies don't seem to see it as a disorder. It may be helpful to define disorder: confusion; a problem that interrupts normal function; abnormality. 'Disorders' are assigned according to cultural norms and they vary from culture to culture, over time. Now consider some cultures, unlike ours, wherein neither cannibalism nor incest are considered disorders. This is because no one seeks to correct them. In our society, the condition of transsexualism is often corrected by surgery. Either that, or conversion therapy, in order to accept one's body and attendant gender role, matching the body. If any person with transgender status, in our culture, does not have what is considered to be a disorder, why would he/she seek to correct it by either having surgery and/or living as the opposite sex, or, getting therapy? I know very little about the faafafine. Can you tell me if any of these boys are given sex reassignment surgery?

I can't rule it out, but my guess is for most probably not. Same for "the men who dress as women" in pre colonial American Indian culture. From reading Lewis & Clarke there doesn't seem to have been anything too remarkable about it either to the European visitors or to the local Indian tribe. The impression I get is that this was an accepted, or tolerated, lifestyle choice, not a disorder of some kind. I take your point about cannibalism, but that was more often associated with funerary rites honouring close relatives than it was for satisfying hungry stomachs. That latter kind of cannibalism that we westerners find most abhorrent was rare. Re incest: most traditional tribal societies (eg. Australian aborigines) have very strict marriage arrangements that completely forbid incest. Dressing and living as the opposite sex or intersex is a lot more widespread than things like cannibalism and incest.

This sadly happens ever day . I posted this after seeing Jackie sending out posting on social media with not wearing seat-belts again and again , perhaps she is saying i will wear then when and if i choose , perhaps she is pulling peoples' chains because she must know people will notice it as the times before , just not smart by who ever sends these out , she has a little brat at times showing up .

Someone has to do it. But in all honesty, I wish she'd choose something more creative to study like arts/lit and music. Even philosophy.

Agree with not a good fit at all , i don't see it as too much negatively , i still don't see her in higher education as we know it , i see something more upbeat not of usual .

If anyone desires a day off then it is Jackie M Evancho >> PEACE & LOVE TO HER May we hold and hug gently and watch over her as a lovely four-leaf clover , things may hurt now but in time will heal , her heart will seal as was not her fault so unload all those negative emotions we see in those blue eyes wanting of love . You will see reflections of the mountains and walk in cool rippled waters with the smell of mint gum you chew , the evergreen trees will chirp of robins and sounds of croaking pudgy frogs , leave the quagmire sit behind you and may your body triumph and be filled with fresh , free of mind and heart , you will breath crisp air of cloudless skies as hurts will be hidden in cloudy nights as ashes of the rains .
Scarred persons live in identical houses with doors closed behind walls
Did life begin in Australia ? , may be logical being down under as the oldest animal fossils yet found 650 millions years ago where found here .perhaps from down under sponges that produce eggs and sperm and this land has things only here .

Just heard in the news this morning a report that when the aborigines arrived from the north about 50,000 years ago it took them about 1,000 years to settle the coasts before moving inland. The gene pools studied from localities across the country show that they have remained in the places originally occupied ever since. Apparently nothing like that has been recorded for so long anywhere else.
