How does anyone know the degee of illness she has ?? , light , mind , deep , etc , only people in their lives know not fans , she looked fine at the school , why should I believe a tiger how dedicated Mike is to what ,other then he quit his business and I guess on Jackies' payroll of sort , he ran out of JEFC in one year ? , I know a couple who lost their young son killed by a teen over a girl and they both have bad cancer now , many many people have terrible times of life and without big money . So interesting how people we think have it all; gobs of money, fame, talent, recognition, success, stardom ... are also so often plagued by broken personal lives. Drug and alcohol abuse, legal issues, many marriages, estrangement from family, destructive behavior, mental illness, loss of privacy, suicide etc. etc. etc.. Show business is a tough business and the price one pays to achieve and keep their fame is usually very high and very dear. Frankly, I would much prefer that Jackie aspire to being a music teacher and mom to a bunch of ankle biters .... than a big time, big name performer. But she's got a gift big enough to be shared with the entire world. It is what it is. If you think about it, in many ways the Evanchos seem like the creation of some TV soap opera script writer: the mother's illness (used to be a staple of daytime soaps; maybe now, not so much); gender confusion resulting in teen angst in oldest sibling; the talented young performer still waiting for "the BIG break" (emphasis on big); quiet(er?) but apparently aspiring younger brother; and (at least onetime) tomboy youngest sister - all dealing in various but apparently differing ways with fame, fortune, and the glare of the spotlights.

Yup. Sounds to me like a pretty typical family. Resembles one I grew up in and that of most I've known. When you open the door to the life of any family, anywhere .... ? What would be most disturbing to me about being a member of the Evancho family .... is the spotlight that is always shining on whatever they do. In my day, and my family and that of most of my friends .... the crazy, wild or strange stuff was closeted. Nosey neighbors were always trying to find ways to the open door to it. But fortunately, both my parents were very conscious of family reputation and especially that of their children. I think the lose of privacy that goes with celebrity and fame is a terrible one. Would be for me any way. One I'll never have to worry about. The closest I came (to fame) was an article about my brother and I and a friend that made the pages of the Chicago Tribune and other major midwest newspapers when we were kids. We got stuck in the muck in a local swamp, our friend up to his chest in quicksand. My brother ran to a fire dept for help while I kept him from being sucked under. I thought my dad was going to kill us all because that incident and our family name made the papers.

Is it the Brady bunch or Fathers knows best but the glare of the spotlight is reflecting from one child to the other as they do not mirror each other .

As a CFS sufferer of long standing, I am constantly told by well meaning friends and acquaintances how well I am looking, or that I seem much better now, or that I must be improving; so you are right, only the sufferer truly knows what they are experiencing. Either Lisa does have Lymes/CFS or she doesn't, and if she does (and I see no reason to disbelieve this) then this sick old tiger is in a better position than most to imagine what she might be going through, and my heart goes out to her as it does to all so like. What it has cost me I can't begin to say. Even looking at the computer screen for too long can wipe me out and I have to go to ground sometimes for days, sometimes weeks or even months. Even good days are still terrible by old standards. You can make up your own opinions about Mike, but his situation is clearly not an ordinary one. I'm not saying he's badly off or badly done by, just that he is doing the best he can in his complex situation. My best wishes to you for good health as i believe that is most important of life That is gracious of you, Beachguy, and not a truer word was spoken. Believe me, I don't spend much time wallowing in it, I'm too focused on getting on with what I can any chance I get. I still have that in common with the person I used to be. I can't climb mountains anymore, but there are quite a few little hills well worth the effort. Also, I'm one of the walking wounded, one of the lucky ones, there are others who have far greater misfortune. All the best to you too, my friend.

I love Instagram but I hate that there're so many ghosts and fakes. I don't want to see them among my community. That's why I use spamguardapp.com to delete them and block them forever. Commercial accounts? Forget about them too. And how do you feel about ghost followers?

Here we call them guests. They know they are welcome to join and participate, but it's their choice.

She has got just about 50 thousands of followers? No way, I believe she can get more. For example one can use *** for promotion, my sister gathered 15 thousands of followers for her dog with it.
