From Craig Rasumsen's Facebook: "What an evening! This was our 4th Jackie Evancho concert, and it was almost like seeing her for the first time, all over again. She was beyond incredible. A wonderful blessing!" snoberg on JEFC: "I too was in attendance it was my 3rd concert. The little girl is gone and replaced by a gorgeous, happy, chatty, gracious and unbelievably gifted teen. She indeed owned the stage and all of yodasr's comments above hold true. I was at the far left front of the pit and on rare occasion glanced back at the audience. They appeared to be synchronized with Jackie's movements heads on swivels so to speak, it was rapturous. Jackie for the most part was very animated and was moving in the groove not unlike music theater. Best part if I had to pick was WAWW being new for me in concert and LOVERS which was so over the top beautiful that words I know would fail miserably to describe the performance. Truly she owns LOVERS in perpetuity. Had a wonderful experience worth the 16 hours of total driving, the place was near capacity and we really got a show. I even got a button from a guy named Joe and he gave many out generously including some to the young ones. Mr. SG I think it was one you made as it had your imprimatur SG in the lower part of the button. Just returned home this evening so I take some time to reflect and add more to this thread later. One post script, as Jackie was dedicating Impossible Dream to her mom she also thanked Zachery for coming along and making the trip verrrry interesting and expressed her amusement. I can just imagine what antics an 11/12 yr old brother can get into having been an impish one myself " shesmorethanasinger on JEFC: "I just arrived home a couple of hours ago, and finally have a minute to comment in a little more in depth than I did on my brief Facebook post that rkarora1 quoted above. As someone else noted, "Beyond incredible" was simply not enough. This was, as I said, our 4th concert. Our first was Dallas, August 2011 -- often referred to as "The Love Fest." Many people have commented that it has long stood as one of the best, if not the best, of all of Jackie's concerts. But as I come away from this concert, I must say that Milwaukee will long be remembered – by Cherie and me, anyway – as the one that rivals Dallas. From the first note of WYWUAS to the end of MOTN, Jackie was as perfect as she was lovely, and as in love with her audience as we were with her. She held us in the palm of her hand with the gentleness of WAWW, the wistfulness of Lovers, and the spiritual depth of TLP, and, at one time or another, every eye in that auditorium shed a tear -- if not many tears -- of joy, wonder and sublime satisfaction. I heard comments from long-time Jackie alum such as, “I’m bawling my eyes out.” “Bring a mop; I’m a puddle.” “It’s like the first time all over again.” I suppose one could say that this happens all the time; we call it “The Jackie Effect.” But here it happened like I, at least, had not seen before: It was like the entire auditorium was getting it!. And the reason was as simple as it was incredible: Jackie is that much better than she has ever been. Just as I have always said that Dallas 2011 was the best concert ever, I have also said that the 11-year-old Jackie was the most beautiful voice I had ever heard. But this – oh, my – I have no words. That little seek peak from her new album – it just doesn’t tell the whole story. Experiencing 14 songs over the better part of 2 hours is, like I said, pretty much like starting the Jackie Experience again, from the top. The other thing that I said in my brief FB post was, “A wonderful blessing.” Without getting too personal, let me just say that many things have come together in our lives that left Cherie an me a bit bereft of joy. And Jackie just spreads joy like Joseph S. spreads buttons. The only difference is that Jackie never runs out. We needed some joy, and Jackie delivered. What more can be said...?"

(John Mario conducted?) John Mario conducted. His brother Luigi didn't show up, though. Jackie and John Mario work together quite well. It was almost hand-in-glove type of arrangement. She knew what he was doing and he knew what she was doing. As far as set lists... it was the same as Detroit. Since the cat was mostly out of the bag, I had a glimmer of hope for "Look at Me" or "Somewhere", but that didn't happen. Nor did I expect it, just hopes. She handled the audience great, got quite chatty at times, and I swear she made eye contact with every one of the 1200 or so in the audience. It is an adjustment to hear that beautiful voice when singing and that little girl voice when she's talking. We even got a couple of the two handed waves, but she's acknowledged every ovation with a curtsy (she's finally learned how) and a wave. One other thing, even though I've read she's stopped, she certainly fiddled with her dress with her left hand on several occasions. That isn't a criticism, that is just the Jackie we've all fallen in love with.
(Is there any information on what she sang, the audience reaction, etc?) The audience loved her and that love just increased as the concert continued. But when she sings, dead silence. Her stage presence is unbelievable. As was stated about the DC appearance, she owns that stage. She sang essentially the same set list as Detroit. I don't even remember what came in which order, though. It was interesting to note, between the first and second acts a stagehand came out and replaced her "teleprompter". Two sheets of paper taped top and bottom to the floor. Gray duct tape for those trivia buffs who need to know everything about something. After the 2nd encore, jackieandbuffyfan put a single rose on the stage. She came over and got it and accepted a greeting card from someone else. I didn't check the time, I know she sang for an hour, but it seemed like 15 seconds.

Alisa Mustafina wrote on FB Hello everyone!! I came back home today after absolutely amazing 3 day vacation which I spent in Milwaukee and Chicago, and I still can't believe in what happened to me during these days!.. Of course the most exciting thing was Jackie's concert on my Birthday!! A few people at the fan gathering mentioned that it seemed that I was super excited about the concert.. Yes, I was!! Can you imagine someone who lives in another country and dreams about attending Jackie's concert on Birthday?? I really had such dream even before I got my visa for the program.. but I considered this dream as impossible.. However, our life is full of surprises!! Jackie's concert on May 30th was a HUGE surprise for me!! so it was just impossible not to be super excited I want to thank one more time everyone who was a part of my big day! Fan gathering was a great experience! I enjoyed meeting other fans and listening various stories around Jackie! It was very interesting! The concert was outstanding!! It's really difficult to find the words to describe my deep impression and indelible emotions! Jackie sounded so clear and powerful! When the concert hall became resonant with Jackie's voice, I lost time control.. Each song flew like a second.. second of pleasure, unreserved admiration, indescribable joy, happy smile, tranquil heart, peace and tears.. I'm so happy and thankful that I had such a great opportunity to attend Jackie's concert in Milwaukee!.. I hope never ever forget those incredible moments! Hope you'll like the pictures I took at the concert. I know that there are a lot of other recent pictures uploaded already, but I think each picture of Jackie is unique! Hope to see you again!! With gratitude and kind regards, Alisa Photos

Joseph Stumpf wrote on The Amazing Jackie Evancho FB site:
"I checked into the Intercontinental Hotel in Milwaukee on Thursday May 29th. I made a few business calls in the lobby and then I was texting Jim Wood making dinner arrangements. As we r texting I look up and there is Mrs. Evancho, the maestro Jackie and Zach checking in. When they were done checking in, walking to the elevator I approached them. Mrs. E right in front of me. The maestro to my left. Jackie to the maestros left. And Zach to my right. Right away Mrs. E pointed to me and said your Joseph Stumpf. I was in shock. I put my hands up and said what do u have a rap sheet on me. She giggled and said no your ok. Mrs. E was in a very jovial and happy mood. She made fun of my NY accent many times. I also spoke a bit to the maestro about NY with both of us from NY. But we all know who I wanted to talk to. I had to keep the conversation directed at Mrs. E to show respect. We talked about troublesome flights and different accents around the country. Then the maestro moved from next to me to next to Mrs. E. Then he said something to her she turned towards him. I saw this as my chance. I turned to my left there was Jackie like a foot from me. I said hi Jackie. She looked up smiles and said hi. I said how r u. She smiled again saying fine. I said u were wonderful Memorial day. She said thanks so much in her sweet voice. Then I m thinking c Mon Joseph ask her one of the million questions you ve always wanted to ask her. Just then she pointed to me and said I wanna ask u a question. I was completely in shock. Why would the greatest voice in the world wanna ask a nobody New Yorker a question. So I said Jackie u could ask me anything. She said why do u wear those buttons. I was wearing Jackie buttons. I said I want u to see that I appreciate your beautiful beautiful voice. She said thanks so much in the sweetest voice u ever could imagine. Then I realized Zach was standing to my right all alone like the third wheel. So I turned my back to Jackie to talk to Zach. No on will ever realize how hard it was for me to turn my back on the greatest voice I ve ever heard. So I faces Zach and told him he is famous in the Jackie world and soon he's gonna have to sign autographs. Him and Jackie chuckled. I also asked if he liked football. As I did I looked over at Mrs. E and she gave me a look of approval getting Zach involved. So as I m talking to Zach I feel a few tugs on my sleeve. I turn it's Jackie tugging on my sleeve to get my attention. She says I wanna ask u another question. I m floored. As she asks Mrs. E The Maestro and Zach r by the elevators waiting. Me and Jackie r left in the middle of the lobby. Jackie asked me why would someone come from NY to hear me sing. I said your different. Other artists like Lady Gaga and Rihanna you just enjoy their music. With u I listen to your voice with my heart and soul. I said when I listen to u after the song is over I feel good inside and out and I want to do good to others. I think she was overwhelmed so I stopped. Just then Mrs. E and Zach were yelling for Jackie the elevator arrived. I said see u tomorrow nite at the concert. She said seeya. The doors closed. I had just said everything I ve ever wanted to say to Jackie. This is the best thing that could happen to me other than my wife coming back to life. Thanks for listening."
