I think Jonathan released his last album quite a while ago, possibly 5 years. I listened to tracks of his new album 'Two Hearts' and was really impressed. The first track didn't sound that great in the first 30 second sample but after that his vocals were really good. I had not heard Two Hearts Entwined, Why Did I Let Love Go, and Now You've Gone. It was nice to hear something new. Amazon.com is not selling the CD but Amazon.co.uk is. The cost is 12.99 in lbs. Approximately how much is that in US dollars? I also want to purchase Alfie Boe's new album 'Trust'. I am deciding on Forte's album. They are very good but the album is playing it safe, all cover songs which I have heard enough of. So I am trying to figure out a monetary problem, not enough of it!

Oh, I forgot about Wynne Evans. This is getting expensive and Christmas is coming!

The exchange rate varies, but it is generally somewhere around 1.5 dollars to the pound, so £12.99 would be just under $20. Delivery charges would add a significant amount to that. I don't know how much but I know a number of friends in the USA have bought from Amazon UK so the cost can't be too prohibitive. I saw Jonathan just over a week ago as special guest in Hayley Westenra's London concert. He is very talented.

I e-mailed Jonathan's website. I mentioned that I had posted his album on this site. He mentioned the album is for sale for 15 pounds on his website but shipping is included, even to Florida. John you never cease to amaze me! Who haven't you seen except the Japanese artists you enjoy?

Here is Jonathan's powerful performance of 'Gethsemane' from Hayley's concert.

I didn't expect this type of dramatic performance from Jonathan. Has he ever been in stage productions? He has got a quite a high vocal range but the one screech just doesn't appeal to me. I don't mean the falsetto, I mean the screech. That's what I didn't like about the first track on his new album. Many of the men in the talent shows who are in the pop/rock genre seem to screech like that. I guess it's a bit more rock than I care to hear in classical crossover but that's just me. But other than that one picky criticism, Jonathan has a real stage presence, very entertaining. Thanks, John.
