Hi wagnerlover, welcome to the forum If you are looking for pure classical music, this might not be the site for you, but if you want to hear interpretations and adaptations then you have come to the right place. Of course all CC artists include an element of classical music in their repertoire (they wouldn't be 'classical' crossover otherwise) but sometimes it is hard to spot and may be only in the style of their performance or composition. Female artists tending toward the straight classical end of the spectrum would include Natasha Marsh, Izzy and the Opera Babes. For male voices you could try Noah Stewart or Wynne Evans. Or you could just browse through the artist profiles on the main CCUK site www.classical-crossover.co.uk/artprofiles.htmlThere is plenty of great music to be found here. I hope some of it is to your taste. Off the top of my head, I can't think of any of Wagner's music that is covered, but I am sure there are those who could enlighten me. Looking forward to hearing more from you. John

Well, Sarah Brightman is widely acknowledged as the leading lady of the CC genre. Some other artists I quite enjoy are Hayley Westenra, Jackie Evancho, Siobhan Owen, The Tenors (formerly Canadian Tenors), Il Volo and Forte.
