The Temple Square in Salt Lake City held 28,000 people for a magnificent concert tonight. The venue is immense, choir and orchestra awesome. The air streaming had it's problems. First we were hearing Spanish and Portugese in the background. When Nathan Pacheco sang his first song, Avatar, it became apparent that there was a time delay and that song and his second in Italian were ruined. The orchestra played a song by Secret Garden and the time delay was corrected. Lindsey appeared and looked lovely. But the arrangement of flowers along the stage and the fog almost obliterated her feet. Lindsey brought me to tears with her explanation of her second song, Poor Little Lamb. It was a song her grandfather's men sang in World War II and he sang it for Lindsey's mother as a lullaby. Lindsey dedicated the song to her grandfather. By the time she played, Scotland the Brave, there was no fog and the camera angle was better, so we got to see a bit of her dancing. Nathan returned to sing Nessun Dorma and received a standing ovation. I wish that the concert was being repeated but the website and YouTube show nothing.
