Frank Varella is on this site as a single performer. Put him together with two other extremely talented vocalists and you have Forte. I love them!

Tonight was the first time I voted. I had to vote for Forte. They are so very special. Sean Panakkar really made the trio complete. I wonder if Branden James has a place in classical crossover?

Here are two video presentations of Forte's performance last night. One is downloaded from the television broadcast and has the judges' comments. The only problem might be the slight distraction of the results of the New York City primary election ticking across the bottom of the screen. The second is the official AGT video without the judges' comments (and NYC election results).
With judges' comments:www.youtube.com/watch?v=xm598qbMrikOfficial AGT video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=h6rT0FF8k2UAll judges in agreement that "Forte" should move on. Voting will make the determination.

Here's the complete version from Dailymotion...another standing "O" again, I think Forte and the japanese guy is the top 2 in the finals. They're the only one have full standing "O" everytime they're performed!

I think the next performance will be the determining factor. I'm sorry I don't remember the Japanese man's name but I think his next performance will have to be extremely creative. I think Forte's song choice will be their winning or losing factor. Audiences tend to remember only the last performance, not previous ones. What did you think of Branden James? I haven't heard any mention of him in these posts. I heard him mention the Chicago Opera Company in his thank you. Does anyone know what his connection to that is?

Branden James is currently a member of the Chicago Lyric Opera. Their official website front page has a link to their blog, "Lyric Lately", which currently refers to Branden. They have seemingly been very supportive of his efforts with AGT.www.lyricopera.org/

Nick Cannon mentioned that Josh Groban and IL Divo will perform at tonight's final results show. This has to be because of Forte's popularity. They usually have rock groups or country western singers. To have two classical crossover acts is very unusual. But, the more classical crossover the better!

I was surprised Forte came in 4th. I couldn't imagine Jimmy Rose and Taylor Williamson getting more votes than Forte. I was pretty certain the Japanese man, I just can't remember his name or spell it, would win the competition, especially because of the way Howie Mandell acted each time the man performed. I don't think judges should be allowed to praise one contestant to that degree.

As we have seen before (i.e., Jackie Evancho), not coming in first on AGT can have its real advantages when you are not tied in to an established contract. "Forte" has been signed to a record contract (SYCO/Columbia) and first album is due out by Christmas. It looks like they will have their own holiday show in Las Vegas and other performances are beginning to line up!www.justjared.com/2013/09/24/americas-got-talents-forte-gets-record-deal-vegas-show/

I'm very happy for them. I'm anxious for the album. I hope it contains some original material but they will probably play it safe for the first release.

There was an earlier announcement that mentioned that their final song on AGT was going to be on the album. They are currently recording and here are two tweets Sean (the real opera singer in the group) sent out today from the session:
Sean Panikkar @seanpanikkar @tenorjoshpage is working some magic today in the studio for the @fortetenors album!
Sean Panikkar @seanpanikkar @1suncatcher @tenorjoshpage @fortetenors no hidden clues. Josh is just AMAZING today. I actually cried listening to him. It's that good.
