I was on YouTube and watched the very few videos of Izzy. I don't remember listening to her video on this site at the time it was shown. But I love her voice. I wondered if someone could tell me what songs are on her first album, Libera Me. The song I particularly liked is titled, My Love Loves Me, Plaisir D'Amour and her version of Fields of Gold. Are they on Libera Me? I found less of her material on amazon.co.uk than on amazon.com, which is a bit unusual. It's usually the other way round. The price of Libera Me is almost $100.00, that's out of the question but they do have some used, one even unopened from different vendors. Only one album is displayed, but when you view that album, you see the other ones she has recorded. In the world of classical crossover, she has been around forever! What is she doing now?

Izzy was the first classical crossover artist that I saw perform live*, apart from Charlotte Church. She made such an impression that my wife and I bought her album 'Ascolta' as a result. This was the performance * or maybe it was Aled - I can't quite remember the sequence. 'Fields of Gold' and 'Plaisir D'Amour' are on Izzy's most recent (2010) album 'Cancion', which you can buy from CDBaby. www.cdbaby.com/cd/RobinHillIzzyCooperI can post the track list from 'Libera Me' when I have more time, but it doesn't include those two songs.

Here is the track list for 'Libera Me' 1. Bailero 2. Libera me 3. Amor 4. She moved through the fair 5. Bel ange 6. Nanita 7. Let me sleep 8. Fall the leaves 9. Psalm 57 10. Laudate Dominum 11. Bailero (reprise) I listened to it again as I was driving home from work today. To be honest, it is my least favourite of my four Izzy albums. I found much of it to be rather heavy-going. But I can thoroughly recommend Ascolta, New Dawn and Cancion.

I'll second your recommendations John. Ascolta and Cancion are my personal favourites, with Plaisir D'Amour from Cancion one of my all artists top ten recordings.

Thanks so much for the info John and Gary. I did not see her album, Cancion, listed on either amazon.com or amazon.co.uk. The two songs I particularly liked are on this album, so I will definitely order it from cdbaby. I've just ordered Ascolta. It's so surprising to me that I've been on this site since 2010 and have only now discovered Izzy's voice to be so appealing. I'll check out what you wrote about her previously. Libera Me is much too expensive and since both of you don't think it is her best, I won't order it. Forums is a continual source of information. Everyone is so knowledgeable and helpful. If fans just come on to vote and never visit here, they are really missing so much.

I just visted her website and see an album of musicals. Do either of you have that one?
