Collaborating with Mary-Jess

Hi everyone

You may, or may not, have heard of me. I'm Rebecca Newman. A little soprano currently based in York, beavering away on my next album..

I saw a thread for Mary-Jess so I just wanted to let people know that I've been in touch with her a fair bit recently with regards to potential songs for my next album (due out in Sep 2013) and the possibility of collaborating with her on future writing.

I have to say she is an absolute delight! Such a friendly, kind and down to earth girl and I, too, am excited to hear her next album after buying Shine.

I think Mary-Jess has been pretty underrated so far, possibly due to lack promotion with Shine, but I hope we will see much more from this talented, accessible soprano in the near future.

Thank you for your exciting news about working with Mary-Jess. I have been privileged to meet her a number of times (though never enough ) and can confirm that she is a lovely person in every way. She is immensely talented and I agree that she is underrated in her own country.
