Lindsey Stirling European Tour 2013/2014

I feel very privileged to have been at one of only two UK concerts on Lindsey's tour, at The Garage in Highbury, London.
It's not your typical classical crossover venue, but then there is nothing typical about Lindsey.
If you are a fan of Lindsey's videos then you would not have been disappointed by her stage performance. True, you don't get the scenery and the special effects, but there is nothing lacking in her action.

I'm not even going to attempt a set list. The music was loud and it was awesome*

Lindsey is always on the move, which makes photography difficult, particularly in low light, but I managed a few worth sharing.







* a very overused word, but in this case it is exactly the right one to use.

Thanks John. Looks like she is making quite the impact across the seas. A violin solo is not something I would normally watch but that girl makes magic.

Caught Lindsey in Glasgow, again at a venue that you wouldn't thought suitable, but still, they managed to sell it out (that surprised me but seems that Glasgow has good taste!)
I'm pretty sure that she's powered by Duracell batteries! She didn't stop from the moment that she came on and made use of the available space on the (small) stage even at moments leaning forward into the audience.

I won't be going to this one. Because of my holiday in America, and my honeymoon later on in the year, I have no holiday left to take off work, so it's impossible for me to go (unless I pull a sicky, which I haven't done once in my life, so I'm not about to start!)

I'm a little surprised no Scottish date considering that she sold out Oran Mor (I thought she might head for one of the bigger venues....) I was hoping that maybe something would come later today but according to the Official UK fan page, that's it.

Looks like she's coming back on the 6th September to something called For Those About To Rock @ O2 Islington....Looks like it's tribute bands to AC/DC and ZZ Top....

Lindsey Stirling yesterday on German TV

Another awesome show from Lindsey at Shepherd's Bush on Tuesday. I think I enjoyed it even more than January (apart from the company, of course )

Another brilliant performance from Lindsey at the Forum, Kentish Town, London on 6th November.

Lindsey certainly doesn't draw your typical classical crossover audience. In a packed venue of perhaps two to three thousand, the number of over 60's that I spotted was in single figures. At a mere 59, I felt distinctly old.

Spectacular lighting effects and a typically energetic performance from Lindsey, although there were a couple of quieter moments.
She slowed down enough for a few clear shots, but most of my photos from the evening are just a blur.

Thanks John , Woo woo , this from a girl Piers Morgan once pushed his button on saying enough  , didn't like her much and not a belief in her , maybe because she is from Utal , she is such a hard worker to keep her acts fresh which is very , very hard to do with something on her shoulder , she is a real artist , she started out in small lounge type houses , i think our CC-UK creater said nice things about her a good while back ( 2 years  + ) in this forum , did you know Lindsay has Video with 107, Million views that's 107, million + on ONE video on UT , She is DINE+o+MITE >>>>>>>>>>>>>> Ps is about 18th on list on UT , 735 Million Views and 5 Million subscripers , not bad for a little girl that does not sing but with her fingers

Lindsay sure knows how to connect with fans , she has a contest to win the thing she plays signed plus a Draw Me type poster with many many really nice entries , she make the fans feel wanted and rewards them , very smart on her part or manager , some artists take their fans for granted
