Few years ago parents shown me Classical-crossover.co.uk to find about new artists and now it's time to register and introduce myself. I'm Gayatri from South london and studies classical music (piano and voice as major) in one of the 4 music schools in UK. I've some singing & piano clips online, most of them are live shots recorded by my dad. www.youtube.com/gayatrinairmusicPlease say Hello if you like it. Thank you ----------- Posted with the help and support from parents

Hello Gayatri, and welcome to the forum. I'm sorry, I have been incredibly busy over the past week, so haven't had time to investigate your Youtube channel yet. I look forward to hearing more from you. Do you have any particular favourite artists? London is a good place for catching live events. John

Thank John, a lot of lunch time concerts in school / visiting musicians. Also many around Hertfordshire. Occasionally during weekends I go to concerts. Fav artists in terms of Classical-cross over are Hayley Westenra / Celtic Woman, otherwise Yuja Wang / Alice Sarah OTT / Cicilia Bartoli etc. Do you have any particular favourite artists? London is a good place for catching live events. John

You are very fortunate to have parents that support you. It's so important for a career in music. I wish your dad had come a bit closer to you, but he made a very nice video of you.

Thank you John, pecanpraline & Nicola. Though I started off here as an aspiring crossover singer, now I spend most of the time on Piano as it is the most demanding instrument to keep up the pace. www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ZUwjrA2FAMI don't know how to explain, but singing is just me and my heart! Not sure I can share music clips here, but this is the only section I can think of. Please listen, if you get a chance www.youtube.com/watch?v=nNEHpijgNGwThank you

Almost 70,000 hits on YouTube when singing Amazing Grace, that's quite amazing!
