Mario will be on Kenneth's guest on One Voice from Africa on blog radio. The show will air on Tueday, May 22 at 7:00 PM Eastern Standard US time. Mario will be speaking of his CD 'Beautiful Things' and his concert to take place in June in Boston, Massachusetts with the Boston Symphony Orchesra. Hayley Westenra will be one of his special guests. I will see if I can get a link to the program. I don't know what has happened to all of Mario's fans that were on this site. I have never posted info before because people with promotional knowledge always did that type of posting. I only found out about the program today. Where are all the fans who posted over 70,000 votes?

Mario talked about the making of 'Beautiful Things'. He talked about his long association with Hayley Westenra, going back to her release of 'Pure' many years ago. He definitely wanted her as a guest at his June concert in Boston. He told the story of how he was approached by Robin Gibb to sing Daybreak on Titanic Requiem. At first he was not certain he would want to sing a song about such a disaster. But Daybreak is a song about someone who does not survive but tells his loved one that he is still there for them, and always will be. It's has an emotional but positive message. He mentioned that he becomes very nervous whenever he sings a new song. He is concerned as to how the audience will respond. He hopes to sing Daybreak. I have been reading about the concert on Hayley's website, her fans are very excited.

Thanks Bonnie. Ken's programmes are rarely at a good time to listen live in the UK, but your comments have convinced me to make time to listen to this one soon.
A Hayley appearance in the USA always causes excitement amongst her American fans and reopens the perennial discussions about her success (or otherwise) in the States, but mostly from those for whom it is still too far to travel.
