Nic, can't find much info of this young lady from down under which is a exchange student in Japan. Here's the raw footage vid in a capella that show her range, sounds like a lyric soprano, beautiful! she looks like part asian...

According to CD jacket, Sarah Alainn made 'Breathe in me' based on the melody of Elgar Cello Concerto. I was excited when I listened to the two tunes. I was somehow convinced that this is a classical crossover.
A part of the melody is identical but the expression/emotion is very different.
Please compare them!

Sarah Alainn is getting very famous in Japan these days after she won a Karaoke championship on TV program.
This is her latest video, sung in Italian, will be released on 25th this month. Her latest album will also be available this summer.
