Does this show in the UK? There's some UK press coverage for this, so I am rather hopeful... I've seen Katherine live and she did some dancing during her tour. She definitely possesses the foundations needed for dancing. She was very graceful.

As I mentioned in this thread here, Dancing With The Stars has been shown in the past on Watch but according to the Watch messageboards, they're not showing it this year because, and I quote, If no one else picks it up, I guess I'll just have to find other means to see it..... Huggles Vhari x

I saw the advertisement on TV today. I was really surprised. I have not watched the show very often. Often a dancer is judged more for their emotional appeal to the audience and their personality rather than their dancing ability. But as the weeks pass, usually the really talented person emerges. I will defintely be watching to see Katherine. She will be absoulutely stunning, but not in her lovely evening gowns. This time she will be stunning in her lack of clothing because on Dancing with the Stars, clothing is very, scanty. Is that word used in the UK for half nude??? I personally love the foxtrot, Vienesse waltz and the dances that show the fabulous flowing gowns, the women look so lovely in their the ballroom dancing posture. If Katherine is graceful, she will win over the judges! They seem to gravitate more to that than the voting audience does.

"Katherine was... she just oozes beauty and elegance, she was so amazing..." Loved how Katherine insisted she wasn't an opera star. Very good of her, and good for the show to edit that in.

I just saw a commercial similar to this one on TV today. It was shorter but Katherine was actually there, not a picture! I don't watch TV much so I didn't know about Katherine dancing on the show!! A pleasant surprise. I'll have to the show! She looked wonderful in the clips I've seen! I'll be sure to vote for her! Jenny♥

blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2012/03/dancing-with-the-stars-katherine-jenkins-foxtrot-sets-the-bar-high.html 'Dancing With the Stars': Katherine Jenkins' foxtrot sets the bar highBy Andrea Reiher March 19, 2012 10:18 PM ET For her first dance on "Dancing With the Stars" Season 14, classical/crossover singer Katherine Jenkins and her partner Mark Ballas were handed the foxtrot, which is a deceptively simple-looking dance. But she pulled it off with so much grace and beauty that we agree with Carrie Ann - we could've been watching two pros out there. Len says of the performance, "Wonderful musicality ... I liked the detail that went on through the dance ... I tell ya what, that was cracking." And Bruno adds, "That was exquisite. The quality of movement is surreal. Week 1, where are you gonna go from here? You're setting the bar so high that really you have a lot to live up to." Carrie Ann also said it got so quiet while Katherine was dancing - everyone was enraptured. The judges gave her a 26 (8 from Len, 9s from Carrie and Bruno), which is the highest score given out on a first show (in a tie with Jaleel White, who got a 26 moments later). What did you think, "DWTS" fans? Does Katherine have your vote?

The producers gave Katherine exactly what I had hoped for, the foxtrot. She wore a stunning deep yellow gown and looked in the judges words, exquisite. She flowed across the floor! The judges loved her and the audience did too. Bravo, Katherine, on your very first dance!
