Kari, thanks for posting the videos here! They come from the charity concert, which was help on 17th May 2014 in church in Slovakia village Výčapy-Opatovce. The event was still based on old Patricia's repertoire, the only new pieces were Laudate Dominum and Hallelujah. It shows very well development of Patricia's voice. The best pieces IMO are Pa pa pa duet and The Songs My Mother Taught Me (Když mne stará matka). On the Pa pa pa duet not only Patricia, but also Daniel Capkovic sings IMO better than on the debut album DVD. Patricia is studying on conservatory in Ostrava, Czech Republic. Her performances with repertoire for wider public, like this, are rare. I am adding here yet 2 newest videos from Altitudo128, they contain older recordings from Patricia's debut album: Lascia ch'io pianga Ave Maria (Caccini) The Caccini was brilliant!! |

I'm very surprised this performance wasn't posted on the first page. This is the first time time I had ever seen or heard of Patricia and I found this video only several days after I saw Jackie on AGT. I knew at the end of this that Jackie would have a serious competitor in the Classical genre but it turns out that Patka has been training in opera.
Anyway, enjoy Patka's breakout performance at just 12 years of age. This was the performance that won her the Talentmania crown of Slovakia in 2011;

Here in the first video is a bit different start for singing performance.  It seems that Patricia is focusing more and more on Opera. She sings without microphone with a very powerful voice and her singing technique is extremely good. |
