Hello, My name is Max, and I am a huge fan of Jackie's. I am retired from the the electric utility industry where my last positions were manager, and senior business analyst. After 38 years my wife and I decided to return to our roots. So I moved back to a small city in Arkansas, population 7,000 on a good day.
Soon after returning home, I was offered a part-time job teaching a computer course at our local community college. Although I had never taught in a classroom, I had taught employees to manage several processing systems. So I thought part-time teaching would be something that fit just right for me. I have to tell you I discovered there is much satisfaction in teaching. I now teach three classes as an adjunct instructor.
We have a son and daughter, and three grandsons.....5, 7 and 8. Thank goodness they live far enough away to avoid being full-time baby sitters, but still close enough to reach in a day's drive.
I discovered Jackie on YouTube where I lurk a lot. I find YT fascinating and I could spend all day watching various videos. I happened to see one of Jackie just before her first appearance on AGT. I had watched several of her videos on her mom's YT site. Like several million other viewers, I was blown away by her on her first AGT performance.
Previously, I had watched the Susan Boyle and Paul Potts series on "Britain's Got Talent". I think Paul is wonderful too. I guess you could say he first introduced me to Classical-Crossover. Anyway, I am now a certified Jackieholic. I want to thank Admin for building this site.
