Was there a newspaper article about Jackie's solo concert? I think we have only seen blogs and reports of the concert on the 11th, but no published media coverage of the concert on the 13th. Or have I missed something? Thanks for any help.

Thanks Kari, heres the quote from official site.
"...Jackie is just back from Japan where she did her first sold out concert at Orchard Hall with the Tokyo Philharmonic! It was an incredible trip for her -- she was personally invited by the Prince and Princess of Japan to give a private performance at the Imperial Palace followed by tea. Jackie also met their daughter Aiko (the little Princess) who is 9 years old and also a fan of Jackie's music. While in Japan Jackie also performed on several TV shows and squeezed in time for shopping and site seeing. Here is a small video of Jackie in Japan!..."

A Japanese friend helped me translate this great blog about Jackie's performance (the original Japanese is at the bottom): Jackie Evancho Japan Tour 2012 “Dream With Me” at Orchard Hall It was last October [2011] when I first found out about Jackie Evancho. Around that time, Jackie Evancho (“Jackie”) released her album “Dream with me”, and in a music store I saw her album and her performance on the monitor. It was a surprise!! I wondered how old is this girl? 11? I soon grabbed a headphone for a trial and listened. Wow, she is so amazing. I checked her profile while listening. Her career started from a TV program in 2010. I checked her performances on websites when I got home. Well, now I know that she got a chance to debut from a TV audition program. It’s unbelievable that she had that voice even when she was 10 in the program. No wonder that her videos have been played more than 63,000,000 times. I remember Susan Boyle from a TV audition program, but I didn’t know Jackie. I saw her performance on a website, and it seemed that she wasn’t nervous at all. No stage fright. Very impressive. She was creating her own world there. I even felt regretful that I didn’t know her until now. I wrote this for a different article, but I hope that Japanese TV should have such program, not just TV dramas. I think Japan is behind the West about this. I wish that we could get the “*Showbiz Countdown” back on TV again. [Note -”Showbiz Countdown” was a TV music program in Japan from 2001-2011.] It was around December 10 [2011], when I found out that Jackie would be performing at Orchard Hall. I didn’t want to lose my chance, so I rushed to get a ticket. I thought I was lucky as I got a row S seat ticket, but actually it was row S on the 3rd floor, so it wasn’t fortunate. On the day of her concert, Jackie appeared on the stage with orchestra and sang “Lovers”. Jackie introduced herself in Japanese. She probably memorized that for the tour. Her Japanese pronunciation wasn’t bad. This time, she didn’t sing all of the numbers from her album, but sang songs selected from the album, and it was a good selection. I was thrilled to hear the song “All I ask of you (Phantom of the Opera) live, a very famous musical song. When Jackie was 7, she saw that movie and got interested in the songs. But the highlight of the show was the second part. “When you wish upon a star”, “A time for us”, “Nella Fantasia”, “The Lord’s Player”. I have listened to her album, but I was fascinated by her voice. I personally loved “A time for us” and “The Lord’s Player”. [Note: another correspondent of mine thought his favorites were "WYWUAS" and "AIAOY".] Beautiful voice. Using strong and soft voices in different parts. What is great about her is that while she still has a potential to grow, she can already express herself very well. I believe her songs will be improving even more. Jackie sang 2 songs as an encore and walked back stage waving her hands. It was an extremely great experience to hear her songs live. I will definitely be paying more attention to Jackie Evancho. takachi.blogzine.jp/blog/2012/01/1132012_in_6c9e.html
