' “Now it's become a new goal for of mine to perform for as many presidents possible,” she said. “That would be cool.” ' Today Jackie got her wish, since in addition to the obvious Obama and Trump, Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, and George W. Bush were all also present - five in one blow!

A Profile in Courage. That, I think, very accurately describes Jackie’s performance of the National Anthem yesterday. It was a prize winning book published in 1957, authored by President John F. Kennedy about 7 Senators who, in the course of American history from near its beginning, suffered grievous political damage for doing what was right under intense pressure from constituents and their political party …. not to. Leading to yesterday, Jackie was subjected to that same kind of pressure …. to abandon her commitment to doing what was right and honorable.
Young and tiny Jackie, perched on a box, overlooking a throng of citizens stretched out a mile before her … with the most powerful leaders in the entire world standing in rapt expectation behind her, began to sing. Her voice during the first few bars uncharacteristically quivered with nervousness …. and “at the twilight’s last gleaming” her lungs started to fail her. For anyone who’s done public speaking, you are very familiar with that panic stricken sensation of breathlessness and the frantic prayer to deal with it …. “lungs don’t fail me now”.
What was spine tingling amazing to me was to watch and listen to Jackie after that terrible second passed, gather herself with her hands and arms moving like handles pumping air from a bellows … finish strongly, robustly, in the spirit of what the song she was singing ….is all about. Courage.

Cuz unlike Queen Bee, Jackie is singing live at the presidential inauguration. As silly as this is, it's still an example of the adage, There's No such thing as BAD publicity!
