Would be helpful if you'd post a link. Per your description I have no idea where it is or what it's about. What does "thinking family" mean? If you attach a link the peeps will check it out and peep-it-up (pump-it-up) with 2 or more comments. Gotta keep our Saint Jackie lookin' good ... ya know.

Among many favorite memories I have of my travels through England was to happen to be in York on business about this time of year and able to buy scarce tickets to hear the York Minster choir perform Handel’s Messiah. I bought 3 in case my client and his wife could go with me. They couldn’t and the tickets weren’t refundable. So the night of the concert I stood at the entrance of the cathedral feeling like a street scalper and hawked them to a couple (at face value) in the mob that surrounded me wanting those precious tickets.
The concert was rapturously beautiful, but one of the things that made the experience totally interesting was the presence of a young lady who sat next to me and introduced herself as an American student at the University of York. She was studying Medieval literature …. and sword fighting which involved actually participating in sword fights with fellow students, wearing iron mail and sparring with a very large and heavy medieval sword. Only in England.
Another thing was the realization of where I was and the history that the Cathedral was built on and participated in since the days (306 AD) when Constantine was coronated by his soldiers, Constantine the Great, Emperor of the Roman Empire in what is today the basement of that magnificent cathedral. You can stand on the very spot where that happened when you take the tour of that most fascinating and mind boggling part of the edifice.
An unforgettable time for which I am thankful for the blessing of my life long love of music. Happy Thanksgiving to all the peeps .... and even the anti-peep .... Beachguy.
You had to add the anti-peep , same to you but I was a Jackie peep before you knew her name and I told people to read this thread

You had to add the anti-peep , same to you but I was a Jackie peep before you knew her name and I told people to read this thread Yes. Couldn't resist. I'm under a spell to always tell the truth. But I do thank you for the thread referral. Very kind and in the Thanksgiving spirit. I hope you noticed, as well, I wished you (and yours) a happy Thankgiving. Back to the peep-battlefield next week. Have a good one in the meantime. (this relationship kinda reminds me of Wiley E Coyote vs Roadrunner where they punch a time clock in and out between episodes. i.e. just business. don't take it personal.)

I used to post a Holiday wish of Good Health & Happy Times but no one liked it so I quit , they don't like me so they can't like what I post , sad folks , some are too serious so now I pull chains here and there , it is more fun as a ghost

Contrary to the recent dreary lament from one of this forum's best known contributors, Jackie's career seems to be enjoying an amazing whirlwind of gigs this holiday season. The concern I'd have is how a high school junior successfully juggles the travel and prep time required for the concerts and TV shows she's scheduled for. Gotta take some very special energy level and focus to pull it off, which I have no doubt she will.
Jackie was in a very special city Sunday. Providence, RI.. Had the very good fortune to live in it and near it for several years. I describe it as a creative energy center. I hope Jackie had some time to explore it and maybe consider it for college (Providence College ... not Brown).
Jackie has never said her grades were good so I don't see her for higher education but at rare moments I can be wrong , we can keep this post , the whirlwind will tell were she is in the eyes of the consumer . yes she can pull it off no question , the success in sold seats is a question of any artist . book it as I have been there in Providence the Insurance city .

As I understand it based on her own statements, some of Jackie's earnings are dedicated to funding college. Jackie's one smart young lady. Trust me. When she says her grades aren't that good, she likely means she gets B+s instead of mostly As. Bummer. As far as picking a school, I hope she selects from the small, Catholic schools like Providence, St. Noberts, John Carroll or Notre Dame (Cleveland or South Bend) etc.. There she'll find relief from the social difficulty she's had in high school. She'll make best friends for life during her college years. There's no place else like it for forming close friendships. Finally, "seats sold", gobs of money and celebrity are the BG standards for success. "Book it". Not mine. One of the best female singers of all time, Eva Cassidy, built a decent career by playing tiny venues, and paying lots of attention to her fans and singing what she liked to sing ... from the heart. Linda Ronstadt also advised all young up and coming singers that the road to success is paved by singing what you like to sing and "paying lots of attention to your fans" and singing from the heart. Jackie appears to be well down that road. I like the Beatles take on it, as well. i.e. "Money can't buy you love". Book it.

I believe she picked a school but that is all talk at this time , maybe in NY , a Catholic school for high school may have been a better pick but I don't believe she is into religion and now with her sister it most likely not a religious school , yes she can have a career but this is not the time of a Ronstadt , she has said I believe she wants to be Big as Lady Ga Ga , gobs of money pays for the cost of a fine house and family and travels and needed items for a career and fine car etc etc etc , not my standards but hers now so money is needed , it's elementary , money has brought plenty of love , watch the Hollywood house wives

I don't think so. She says she's thinking about Penn State, NYU, and one other .... maybe Slipperyrock, (PA) (lol). Too big. As a freshman she'll sit in a classroom with 600 others watching a teaching assistant lecture on a big TV screen. And for that she'll pay 40 to 50 grand a year?? (Penn State. One of the most expensive public universities in the U.S.). Not religious?? Why does she chose to sing The Lord's Prayer for every encore she's ever given? It think it's BG who prefers she share his penchant for and love of atheism (another type of religion). I know .... she's unfortunately still pandering to her pixie dust fans who are keeping her from ..... Lady GaGa level success ... which we all know is her very fondest dream since she was 8 ... or was it 10 when she said that? Whatever. I think it's about .... " for love OR money". Otherwise like water and gasoline. A very destructive and incompatible mixture. "I rather believe in love, to give it away as much as I can to those I'm most fondest of." (a line from one of my favorite Allison Krauss ballads. Dreamin' my Dreams With You).

(a line from one of my favorite Allison Krauss ballads. Dreamin' my Dreams With You). She say NYU , that is a fact < ""Lords Prayer "" most likely is a pick from her PR person of now as they see white and grey haired in the hundreds at concerts , her fan base of now , she does not show a cross or bless herself , does she , she lost AGT because she sang a religious song of one church in the finals , a silly mistake , a mistake because ALL faith watch an vote and tons of non-believers , it is best to be smart if wanting ALL the people to vote for one , its common sense or its elementary , don't lean to one special group , DUH , again a attack from you the loser , i don't believe in atheism smart punk , i am one who as the founding fathers believe there is or was a God but not active in human life , he does not pick the child to live or die , he plays no role on this planet , no fairy tales to believe ,there should not be bibles in our courthouses to swear on , this Country was born for freedom of religion not for ONE religion , GOD is our money , look at it , i am a Deist , in other words if you were on the 911 planes you would die because no God is saving you , the God of the pilots may have won that battle , , making fun of others faith or non is a sick old mind , as a fool you believe you have the only correct faith which is 30% of the world faiths and dropping fast as the youth are now thinking more and not being brain washed in schools , duh , take a nap
