Are there any sub-forums you guys want other than the ones that are already there? I made Mary-Jess a new addition. Might delete Katherine Jenkins and Toni Gibson if they remain inactive?

I would imagine Toni's to be a bit sparse until next March. Not sure if it would be used but I am quite amazed there isn't a Sarah Brightman sub.
Any thoughts on general Female Artists, Male Artists, Instrumentalists, etc sub-forums?

Nic xx I doubt that either of those will stay empty for long. Katherine has a concert tour starting in January and the build up to Toni's album release is sure to attract comments. This forum is not four days old yet and people are still feeling their way.

Any thoughts on general Female Artists, Male Artists, Instrumentalists, etc sub-forums? Yes, that occurred to me at the beginning in 2009, but I was a bit concerned that topics in instrumentalist and choirs sub forums would go ignored or stay empty. People are more open to a new artist when they don't know anything about them when they click the link - they may not bother with the artist if they already know it's a choir. But it's more that the sub forums would remain empty whilst "female vocalists" will be full. Just makes the forums look uneven, I think. The sub forums are determined by amount of discussion of an artist. Whilst Sarah is very popular, she is hardly ever mentioned on the forum. I made a new sub for Mary-Jess because prior to the change over she was one of the most discussed artists.

This forum is not four days old yet and people are still feeling their way. Katherine and Toni's board have had very little posts for quite a while, that's why I was wondering. Is there a definite release date for Toni? Toni also has her proboards forum which is why there seems to be a lack of discussion.

Toni's own forum has very little traffic at the moment. I think mainly because Toni is travelling so much and necessarily being a little secretive on the new album. Last that Toni said was early March 2012.
I see what you mean about the general sub-forums, I was just thinking on a, say, Female Singers sub-forum for those artists other than those with their own specific section.
I have always found on other forums (not CC), that new and 'in the press' artists generate a lot of posts whereas established artists draw little. It's a shame because I would very much like to hear other views and comments on some of our more staid artists.
