I just took a look at musicsalestracker.com & amazon.com to see how Katherines' albums are doing after her latest DWTS appearance. According to musicsalestracker, as usual her albums took a SUBSTANTIAL jump here in the US, for example: "The Essential Collection" (a digital only album) - which had been sitting at around the 14,000th best selling digital album (essentially static) suddenly jumped to being the 1,480th best selling digital album (not high compared to Pop albums, but pretty good for a Classical album) immediately after Mondays' airing of DWTS. Other albums jumped as well - most notably the "Ultimate Collection" (see below for more info on this album's sales).
So, lets look at Amazon:
Right now, in the Classical category, Katherine has the following ranked albums:
#1 (Ultimate Collection) - note that this is ALSO the #37 album OVERALL
#3 (One Fine Day)
#5 (Believe Platinum Collection)
#6 (Daydream)
#8 (Sweetest Love)
#27 (Sacred Arias)
#55 (Believe)
#56 (From the Heart)
Note that she has FIVE of the Top Ten Classical albums.

Pretty darned good for someone who was "virtually an unknown" here in the US just a few short weeks ago). THAT is what her appearance on DWTS has done for her. She is CLEARLY gaining fans - which is EXACTLY what many of us here have been hoping for.
